I wanted  to share my first Prima Blog BAP – this is a sketch you use to Build A Page (BAP) – don’t you love flowers, and i especially love colouring them to match a project. Luminarte’s Radiant Rains are so great for this – the colours are so vibrant and so so much shimmer. I also coloured a resist canvas to go with the page and added some colour to the butterflies.
The photo I used is one from my birthday this year, the family went out to lunch and we had a bit of a photo shot – which is very unusual, normally they are all ducking for cover lol. Anywho this is one of my mum and me. Hope you like the layout.

The Beautiful Flowers I Used For This Layout – Prima April BAP

When colouring flowers there are few rules to follow to get a natural colour

  • mist your flowers with water first as this helps the colour wick
  • use 2 or 3 colours on your flower
  • leave a little time for the colours to blend and move before drying
  • and lastly i like to dry my flowers with my heat tool as they seem to hold their shape better
